At the bottom of Machico valley, also known as the Mimosa valley, we walk along the Maroços levada. We enjoy a selected 6km stretch of beauty and typical agricultural fields of Madeira with the famous terraces. It is a very special walk with magnificent views over the Bay of Machico, where the Portuguese navigators made their first visit to the island of Madeira. 🚶🏼 Distance: 6 km ⚙️ Difficulty: Easy 🚍 Pick-up/Drop-off Information: • Pick-up/drop-off is free for travelers in Funchal, Santa Cruz and Câmara de Lobos; • Pick-ups/drop-offs outside these locations will have a cost to be determined and paid at the pick-up time; • After reserving this tour, you'll be contacted by the Tour Operator to arrange the pick-up/drop-off; • Drop-off is also included. ℹ️ Additional Info: • Comfortable clothes and sunscreen are recommended; • Water should be packed; • Children must be accompanied by an adult; • Our company reserves the right to change our activity due to weather conditions.
