(EN) Madeira's non-fortified wines have a unique flavour and at Quinta do Barbusano you will get to experience a tour to the entire estate. Quinta do Barbusano features what is currently the island's biggest area of verdelho vineyards, planted on the majestic slopes of São Vicente valley. We start the day by visiting viewpoints overlooking the north of the island. Afterward, we proceed to the estate, where a local guide will share with you the passion of winemaking. • Wine Tasting: You can experience a tailored wine tasting of 6 different wines from Madeira Island for an additional 15€ per person. • Lunch + Wine Tasting: You can also choose to experience the wine tasting and a complete lunch for an additional 50€ per person. The lunch includes traditional "espetada" in laurel skewer, boiled potatoes with aromatic herbs, fresh salad, and "bolo do caco", a local flatbread. Great private tour along the east coast of Madeira. We saw some stunning view points going to Barbusano quinta. We choose to add the wine tasting with an expert sommelier and a good lunch (with vegetarian option as we asked in advance) to our visit. We tasted six local wines before lunch and a glass of Madeira with the dessert.
